David L. Robnett is Chairman of Celebrity Financial. Mr. Robnett is an experienced entrepreneur, executive, mortgage banker, marketer and strategist. As Chairman, Mr. Robnett provides strategic leadership for the firm by working with the board and leadership teams to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. He is responsible for the overall direction and administration of programs, products, and services provided by Celebrity, including financial performance, business development, mergers & acquisitions, operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Additionally, he currently also serves as Chairman and CEO of Celebrity Home Loans, LLC, a mortgage bank with over 1100 employees and over $4.35 Billion in annual mortgage originations. Previously, Robnett was SVP, Director & Chairman of LeaderOne Financial Corporation, a mortgage bank with over 550 employees and $1.7 Billion in annual mortgage originations, based in Overland Park, Kansas. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
David grew up in the small town of Kinmundy, Illinois and spent time in his youth helping on the family farm and with the family’s ag businesses, Greendale Grain and Vig Fertilizer. He credits his entrepreneurial spirit and tireless work ethic to his parents. To honor this legacy, the Greendale Ag Lending name is taken from the business that the Robnett family built in the 1970s and 1980s.
