Aaron Johnson serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Greendale Ag Lending. Aaron grew up in the Ag industry working on multiple farms across the country. With a father in the military, Aaron and his family relocated often to places as diverse as Hawaii and Virginia. Within each area his father, who also grew up on a farm, would introduce him to farmers and have him work after school gaining valuable experience.
Aaron is a graduate of Washington State University where he was a four-year starter as a defensive lineman and team captain for the Cougar Football Team. He earned his Bachelor’s in Animal Science with a focus on Ag Production and Finance. After college Aaron attended and graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School at The University of Washington.
For the past 13 years Aaron has worked in all levels and areas in the banking industry from small community bank to large national banks focusing exclusively on Ag lending and industry. He recently moved into the Ag mortgage industry where he can focus on Ag across the country. Aaron’s true passion is all areas of Agriculture. As a testament to that, he also owns a small beef cattle operation in Kimberly, Idaho where he currently resides. Aaron’s hobbies include hunting and fishing, as well as coaching High school football and mentoring young men and women in the athletic field. Aaron is married to Katie Johnson. Together they have four girls and are expecting a baby in August.
